AXIS OF AWESOME

Wednesday, March 31, 2010

Hi, Daryl here.
This will be a short post on the 10th week of IPW.
We've already decided on our project, which is going to "Upcoming music talents in Singapore and how are they faring against the US"
Instead of a physical presentation where we are supposed to make a mock up model or something like that, we've decided to go virtual and use a simple PowerPoint presentation which will explain clearly and surely.
If there is a need to, we will do some other physical presentation that would involve the use of actual instruments to show some "riffs and licks".
Our presentation will be ready by next week, 11th, IPW lesson.
We will also discuss and develop our ideas further.

Individual Reflection

3: I have learned who are Singapore's Talents, and about many instruments used for making music and the main genres of music.
2: I have not known much about music but after this experience,i know much more and found music interesting.Getting along with my classmates to have a good discussion was both fun and engaging.
1: As music is not really my talent nor interest,i have not know much about it,but i believe overtime i will get used to it.

Individual reflection Siak Yi Kar

As i did not know much about music my group members thought me a lot of things about music. As i learn from them i felt that i was learning something that i did not know much at first. I found music interesting because music gave me a sense of delight and happiness. I found a true face of my friends although i thought my group members were all very bad mannered except for 1 but in this group project i found that i could actually interact with them. I have learnt a lot about the musical instrument the guitar as my group members are all very interested in guitars. I have also learnt about team work so that we can get things done earlier. Thats all folks.
